Educational and research activities in this laboratory focus on the integration of liberal arts education with specialized pharmaceutical sciences, with the aim of cultivating pharmacists-scientists, and pharmaceutical professionals who can address the diverse needs of contemporary society. Emphasis is placed not only on the development of advanced professional knowledge and skills, but also on the development of individuals equipped with social awareness, an international perspective, and practical problem-solving skills.
Based on this educational philosophy, the laboratory addresses emerging professional roles in pharmacy, including sports pharmacists engaged in sports medicine and anti-doping activities, international pharmacists capable of contributing to global healthcare and pharmaceutical settings, and clinical data analysts who analyze and utilize clinical and healthcare data. Through these initiatives, students are encouraged to apply pharmaceutical knowledge across a wide range of real-world contexts.
To further enhance educational quality, collaboration with faculty members from other academic fields is undertaken as needed, providing interdisciplinary instruction and support for specialized training programs. By incorporating expertise from diverse fields, an educational environment is fostered in which students can approach pharmacy from multiple perspectives and reflect on and plan their future career development.
