We visited the Nagara River Cormorant Fishing as part of our annual off-campus activities.
Cormorant fishing is a traditional event that Gifu City is proud of. Blessed with fine weather, the participants enjoyed the magnificent historical scene.
This year, third-year students and a visiting group from the University of Florida participated on Wednesday, May 24, and first-year students on Wednesday, May 31.
Participants from the University of Florida said that this experience was so unique that it could not be replicate anywhere in the world.
